1. Overview
Welcome to Ledger + Legacy. By using this website, engaging our services, or purchasing any of our offers, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect your rights, our work, and the integrity of the client relationship we hold sacred.

2. Use of Website
This website and all content provided are intended for lawful use by individuals 18 years and older. You agree not to misuse this site, duplicate its content, or interfere with its functionality in any way. All content—written, visual, downloadable, or otherwise—is the intellectual property of Ledger + Legacy and may not be copied, republished, or reused without express written consent.

3. Client Services + Deliverables
By engaging with Ledger + Legacy for bookkeeping or strategic financial services, you agree to the scope of services outlined in your custom proposal or selected tier (Foundation, Vision, or Legacy). Our commitment is to accuracy, confidentiality, and clarity in all deliverables.

You are responsible for providing accurate, timely financial documentation and access to necessary platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, bank feeds, payroll systems). Delays in access may impact timelines.

4. Payment Terms
All services are billed monthly or as per the agreed payment schedule. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise stated. Failure to pay on time may result in a pause or termination of services.

For retainer services: payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. If you wish to cancel, please provide written notice 14 days prior to your next billing date.

5. Refunds + Cancellations
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. 

6. Confidentiality
We honor the confidentiality of every client relationship. Your financial data, business documents, and personal information will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties unless required by law or explicitly agreed upon in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability
While we are meticulous in our processes, Ledger + Legacy is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, missed tax filings, or business outcomes arising from the use—or misuse—of information provided through our services. You retain full responsibility for your financial and business decisions.

8. Intellectual Property
All training materials, financial dashboards, guides, templates, and strategic documents provided during the course of your engagement remain the intellectual property of Ledger + Legacy unless otherwise stated. These materials are licensed to you for personal and internal business use only.

9. Third-Party Tools
We may use third-party platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Calendly, Notion) to facilitate service delivery. You acknowledge that these platforms have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their functionality or data handling.

10. Dispute Resolution
In the rare event of a disagreement, we are committed to resolving issues with integrity and clarity. If a resolution cannot be reached, you agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Jurisdiction for any disputes will be Sweden, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes your acceptance.
